Successful marketing is best built on a great product. It will be hard, if not impossible, to successfully market a poorly produced book. If we're handling your book publishing project, we'll ensure that your book has been through a professional editing and proofreading process, is beautifully formatted to industry standards, has an eye-catching cover and is accompanied by an enticing product description and back cover 'blurb'.
But having a great product is just the foundation. It's important that you don't neglect marketing when planning your book project, and we'll always make an allowance to provide marketing advice as part of any book publishing project that we handle.
We'll explain things like the importance of making the book available for pre-order before its release date in order to build up anticipation for it, and talk with you about the kinds of activities you can be doing during that period and after it.
If we can't help you ourselves with any marketing activities you want to do, we'll likely know people who can, and we'll be more than happy to put you in touch with them at no charge.
More often than not, we handle marketing advice as part of a larger commitment to publishing the book, but we're very happy to provide marketing advice in isolation too.
